WhatOpen.com is a search engine based for the web and mobile.
With it you can perform Local searches based on times and places that are open, find by proximity, it also allows you to search via mobile GPS that will track where you are to search the nearest places with what you want.

Although the access is restricted to it has over 50 million business listings and currently 100,000 people testing the search engine for it’s public release as a public beta in the end of 2007.
Although the team goals are great I have some suspicious concerning how well will What Open perform since they don’t really seem to bring something new. Perhaps engaging in a affiliation with established platforms like facebook and myspace would create a little more use for the search engine.
