When I as younger my father bought me gamming board that included 8 possible board games. I must have been 5 or 6 at the time. Luckily the same year I got that board I had chest lessons at school and started developing a taste for board games. Two years later I had learned to play almost all games at the board my dad bought me but one didn’t really stick to me. That game is backgammon.
Although I still have that board today I have never learned how to play that game and to be honest now I just don’t have the time or patience to learn it.
There are some important championships happening around the world and you can actually get some money for playing it.

I did a search and found out that one of the biggest names in backgammon is Roman Greenberg, also known as “Backgammon Masters Boxer”. He is actually sponsored by a backgammon website called Backgammon Masters which affirm that Greenberg was “born to be a world champ”.

I never thought that the scene in backgammon would be this aggressive to the point the players are nicknamed of boxers. It’s a bit awkward don’t you think?
