Android Cupcake Video

By December 2008 allot of rumors about a new branch of the mobile phone operating system where at hight.
The new branch called cupcake was promising to deliver video recording, copy paste function, stereo bluethooth and some other features.

So far the new version has an on-screen keyboard ith portrait mode that allows the user to type with the touchscreen removing the need for a physical keyboard and a notepad.

Has a feature called live folders that consists on auto refreshing folder shortcuts on the desktop.

Emoticon support for IM and multi-language support for Arabic, Czech, Danish, German, English (Australian, UK, Singapore, and US), Spanish, Finnish, French, Hungarian, Italian, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Thai, Turkish, Chinese (China and Taiwan).

Without a doubt Android is looking to make competition to the iPhone operating system but still has some work ahead of itself. Here’s a video showing some of the new features of Android Cupcake.

Flickr permite upload e visualização de videos

Bom, os videos estão limitados a 90 segundos e os utilizadores com contas gratuitas apenas possuem um limite de 150Mb para os seus videos.

Formatos suportados:

  • AVI (Codecs proprietários podem não funcionar)
  • WMV
  • MOV (AVID ou outros codecs proprietários podem não funcionar)
  • MPEG (1, 2 e 4)
  • 3gp

Adobe contrata co-autor do Content Image Resize

Lembram-te do artigo sobre o redimensionamento inteligente de imagens? Pois é a Adobe não é parva e tendo em atenção o potencial da ferramenta e toda a conversa criada em volta dela contrataram Shai Avidan. E parece que o facto de Michael Arrington ter expressado o seu desejo de ver essa ferramenta no Photoshop não passou despercebido.
